Imtiaz Shuvo

Metaverse: It’s a brave new world out there in the metaverse, and you might wonder how your business can leap to this new frontier. Rapid technological advancements make the metaverse more accessible to businesses and consumers alike. And as it grows, so too does the need for businesses to have a strong presence in this new digital landscape.

Metaverse marketing that breaks boundaries: We don’t like to play by the rules. When it comes to marketing, we believe that there are no rules. That’s why we chose metaverse marketing. It’s designed to help us disrupt the status quo and explore what’s possible in virtual reality. Through a mix of strategy, creativity, and technology, we are working to push the boundaries of marketing and create experiences that will wow our audience— alongside our meta-marketing, bringing more opportunities.

How the metaverse can revolutionize the fashion industry: The idea underlying digital fashion can be difficult for many to grasp since buying/trying out clothes that only exist in a virtual world can seem quite strange at first. However, with this niche market continuing to gain a lot of traction recently, many experts are beginning to view the idea of the metaverse reshaping the future of fashion a lot more seriously.

For example, as per a recent study, clothing existing solely in the digital world was found to be way more environmentally friendly than its physical counterpart, with the former emitting 97% less CO2 and consuming approximately 3,300 litres of water less per item. Not only that but there is also data to suggest that by replacing physical samples with digital ones during a company’s design and development phases, it is possible to reduce a brand’s carbon footprint by a whopping 30%.

Furthermore, digital clothing can be beneficial during the various steps preceding the actual physical production of a garment. For example, these virtual items can be used for modelling, sampling and marketing before their physical iterations are sent into production, thus greatly minimizing the overall environmental impact of the entire life cycle of a fashion item.

“In many ways, fashion in virtual worlds is poised to emulate what we already see in day-to-day life, as we’ll want to dress up our avatars and use fashion as a form of self-expression and status”

Fashion Brands Leveraging the Metaverse: In many ways, fashion in virtual worlds is poised to emulate what we already see in day-to-day life, as we’ll want to dress up our avatars and use fashion as a form of self-expression and status. Sure, you might not be convinced yet, but some think the idea has legs. Morgan Stanley, for example, recently forecasted that the virtual fashion market could be worth over $55 billion by 2030. And we don’t even have to look that far ahead into the future to see whether or not metaverse fashion will take off. As you’re about to find out, there are already a number of brands that have launched metaverse.

What Benefits Does Entering The Metaverse Brings:

Fashion is, as we know, a trend-setting industry, never to be left behind as times move forward. And with the metaverse now rapidly taking shape, it’s no surprise to see apparel brands embracing emerging technology, particularly non-fungible tokens, and experimenting with new mediums. Here are a few reasons why entering the metaverse can prove to be a very successful strategy: Massive Margins, Secondary Market Profits, No Inventory or Oversupply, Innovation and Creativity, High Personalization, Engagement, Accessibility etc.

“The industry has realized that the virtual world, despite being based on imaginary creations, actually has profound utility when it comes to garments. The evolution of design technologies allows creative freedom for all designers, but some clothes they design can never be worn in the real world. The metaverse removes this hurdle — a digital avatar can wear any garment without any constraints of type, design, fabric and use.” Imtiaz Shuvo

The metaverse will also make it easier for smaller designers to break into the market because all that’s needed to create and sell digital pieces is access to a computer and the internet. Digital clothing is thus making the fashion industry more accessible for sellers and buyers while tackling the urgent need for sustainability. As the metaverse approaches and the lines between reality and virtual continue to blur, fashion’s eye is toward the future.
